Roan Highlands with Savannah

Savannah and I spent three days backpacking across the spectacular Roan Highlands.

Day 1:  Arrived at Carver's Gap with 60 mph winds and no visibility.  Camped at Overmountain.

Day 2:  Hiked up Little Hump, Big Hump, and down to the idyllic Doll Flats camp.

Day 3:  Hiked down to highway 19E.  Drove back up to Roan to trail run in the sunshine.  Total Distance: 16 Miles.
